Nau mai haere mai ki ARG programmes: focused on the future of Aotearoa
Work with real data and research, and make a real difference.
What is Analytics & Research in Government (ARG)?
The ARG programmes are multi-agency initiatives to build capability in data, analytics and research across government.
Critical insights gained from analysing data and doing research inform the way government makes decisions, from policy changes to operational and financial decisions.
To help make Aotearoa better for all New Zealanders, we need and want a wide range of people and perspectives working across government.
We encourage applications from all members of our society, including Tangata Whenua, Pacific and other ethnic communities, people with disabilities and the LGBTQI+ community. We also welcome people from a broad range of different study backgrounds.
We want you to experience life working in government and have the chance to apply the skills you’ve learnt, so that you can develop insights that will help steer the strategic, operational, and policy decisions in Aotearoa.
If you have a desire to make a difference in the lives of New Zealanders, and either a strong interest in research and evaluation or a passion for data and analytics, then this is a fantastic opportunity to help bring about real change!
